On a typical fishing day, your local English speaking guide will pick you up at your hotel at the time arranged the night before, usually between 8:30 and 9am.
It´s a half hour drive to the Limay River, here we gear up, put in and float, fishing all morning untill lunch time. The lunch spot is under willow shade since it´s usually pretty hot in summer (80-90´s F), we set up a table and chairs viewing the river.
Lunch consists of typical argentine food, for instance ¨milanesa¨ (breaded veal) with different salads.
Whenever possible we cook an ¨asado¨ or barbecue with thick steakes, other options are roasted chicken, ¨empanadas¨ (tipical argentine pie).
To accompany this we take a good bottle of argentine malbec red wine. We always provide dessert, fruit, ground coffee and ¨mate¨ (southamerican hot drink in form of tea).
On the raft at all times we have cold beer, sodas and water.
We fish all afternoon and then take you back to the hotel with enough time for a shower so you may dine at any of the many fancy restaurants down town.
On the float trips we provide a comfortable fishing frame on a 14 foot raft, with swivel seats and an anchor system, we do get off and wade wherever possible.
On some hot summer days we don´t use waders, and just wet wade with tevas and shorts.
